Since launching the monthly physical magazines for “The Metal Webzine” in April 2021, it’s become clear that our little zine is slowly evolving into something bigger and broader. As such, we decided to change things up. “The Metal Webzine” is no more. We are now WRETCHED SOUND – a name with more than one story behind it. With this new name, you can expect the same kinds of articles, videos, podcasts, etc., but while covering a much wider scope of extreme music. All this being said however, it’s important that we continue to point out that our emphasis will be placed (as always) on the local music scenes of Buffalo and Rochester, New York.
